Olivia Wilde: “I’m Not Dating Justin Timberlake”

OLIVIA Wilde isn’t dating Justin Timberlake!

The sexy actress sparked talk of romance between her and pop star Justin when they were spotted at an L.A nightclub together earlier this month — but Wilde insists the pair aren’t Hollywood’s hottest new couple.

“I’ve always loved Justin and we’ve been friends and nothing more than that for years,” says Olivia.

“I know how these rumors happen. It comes with the territory. People are curious by nature. I’m just glad I don’t let all these rumors get to me otherwise I think I would go insane.”

Timberlake split from girlfriend Jessica Biel in March after over four years together, while Wilde filed for divorce from hubby Tao Ruspoli after eight years of marriage March 11.

Wilde recently revealed how she balances life with maintaining her figure.

”Striving for physical perfection takes a lot of energy,” she said.

“For me it’s important to come home from work, cook a meal, and spend the afternoon reading a book, instead of always running around.”

Nylon Magazine Flashback

Planning our annual Young Hollywood issue goes something like this:

The entire staff crashes on Marvin Scott Jarrett’s two big couches, each with a list of emerging actors they think are amazing. We share, we debate, we shriek “I’m so obsessed with her!”… then Marvin and Luke Crisell begin crafting a list of Young Hollywood contenders.

It’s a fun and chaotic process, but apparently it works pretty well – past YH alums have gone onto score Oscar nominations, Tony Awards, fashion campaigns, and box office gold.

With our fifth Young Hollywood issue officially launching tomorrow, we’ve pulled some of our favorite photos from the past five years – a retrospective, if you will, of our favorite Hollywood hotshots as young men and women.

Tribeca Interview: Sun City Picture House’s David Darg, Olivia Wilde And Bryn Mooser

In the wake of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, many were left without food, water, shelter and other vital necessities. However, while working to restore fundamental essentials, Bryn Mooser and Adam Darg also fought to bring some fun and entertainment back into the local population’s lives. The quake took down the last of the country’s few functioning movie theaters so, with the help of Sun City residents, Mooser and Darg worked to build a new one, the Sun City Picture House.

Having made many fundraising pieces, both Mooser and Darg were familiar with the filmmaking process and opted to put those skills to use by documenting their work in a short film. The duo also attracted the attention of actresses Olivia Wilde and Maria Bello, both of whom donated a great deal of time to the Haiti relief effort and continue to do so today. Between Mooser, Darg, Wilde, Bello and the help of local supporters, it was merely a matter of days before the Sun City Picture House went from a noble idea to a reality.

To celebrate Sun City Picture House’s debut at the Tribeca Film Festival Darg, Mooser and Wilde came out to further support their short documentary and the continued effort to rebuild Haiti. Check out everything the trio had to say about building the theater, creating this film and much more in the video interview below.

Tribeca Video Interview: Olivia Wilde on “Sun City Picture House”

We don’t often cover short films here on ComingSoon.net, but once in a while one comes along that’s so special, we can’t ignore it, and it certainly doesn’t hurt that David Darg’s Sun City Picture House has a couple of name actresses as its executive producers – Maria Bello and Olivia Wilde. The film documents the building of a makeshift movie theater in a refugee camp in quake-stricken Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and it’s a beautiful film that’s really something to be proud of.

Most people would know Ms. Wilde from the TV show “House” and movies like TRON: Legacy and Jon Favreau’s upcoming Cowboys & Aliens, but not many of her fans may realize she’s been an activist going down to Haiti for years before the quake struck. Getting involved with this short film was a chance to share the importance of doing something to help and how even the smallest contribution can have a huge impact.

Check out our video interview with Ms. Wilde below where we talk about how she got involved with the film through her work with Artists for Peace and Justice. She also talks about her love for docs and film festivals and a couple of new things she has in the works.

Sun City Picture House is now playing as part of the “One for All” shorts program at the Tribeca Film Festival, and you can catch repeat screenings of it on Wednesday, April 27 at 3:45 PM, Friday April 29 at 3:30 PM and Sunday, May 1 at 4pm.
